Ephemera began on January 1, 2004, with a photo of Heather's engagement ring and a simple plan to share a photo a day. And I did that for just about three years.

Along the way, I had some great experiences. I rediscovered my love of photography. I wound up publishing photos in a bunch of books, magazines, and newspapers. Running this site reconnected me with a community of photographers I'd long missed.

But life is a little different now. I've been too busy with starting a company and running a magazine to update here for the last few months, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

So I think this is the end of Ephemera. Thanks so much for coming along for the ride. I'm still shooting, when there's time. You can find me on Flickr and JPG if you'd like to see what I'm up to now.
